Where: Southern Malawi
Why: To raise money as a team to build a maternity centre
What: 3 days of cycling, 2 days visiting our current programme and meet the women we work with and 1 day on safari
How much: £1,825 per person which includes all in-country costs; accommodation, food, transport, bike hire and support team. (Doesn’t include flights, drinks, visa or personal travel insurance). £350 single supplement if you would prefer a single room.
Fundraising Target: As a team your group fundraising target is £26,316, you will be set up with a personal fundraising page so you can track your personal fundraising which links to the team appeal page so you can see how the team is doing as a whole. Fundraising can be made up from fundraising events, donations or sponsorship.
Itinerary:

| Day 1 | Sat 23rd Sept | Arrival and welcome evening meal | Arrival at Game Haven Lodge – approx 40minutes from airport Check in, welcome dinner and trip briefing. |
| Day 2 | Sun 24th Sept | Cycling | First day of cycling through the beautiful tea plantations of the Thyolo. Distance approx 60kms and undulating hills. |
| Day 3 | Mon 25th Sept | Cycling | Today a mix of road transfer and cycling as you head to your next destination, Malawi’s colonial capital of Zomba. Cycling distance approx 65km. |
| Day 4 | Tue 26th Sept | Programme Visit | Day spent visiting programmes in Zomba. |
| Day 5 | Wed 27th Sept | Programme Visit | Day spent visiting programmes in Zomba. |
| Day 6 | Thu 28th Sept | Cycling | Final day of cycling from Zomba to Malawi’s most popular national park; Liwonde. Cycling today is predominantly downhill and roughly the same distance of 60kms. Transfer final distance into the park. Overnight at Mvuu Camp located within the national park. |
| Day 7 | Fri 29th Sept | Safari | Day spent at Mvuu Camp – spend the day on safari in the beautiful Liwonde National Park. |
| Day 8 | Sat 30th Sept | Travel to Blantyre, final celebration meal | After the morning activity transfer to Blantyre – approx 3hours. Settle in to Annie’s Lodge before heading out for a celebratory dinner in town. |
| Day 9 | Sun 1st Oct | Flight home | Transfer to Blantyre airport in time for departing flight. End of service. |
