Description

Having a bike means a healthcare worker can reach more people and ensures no one misses out on the vital care needed in rural areas.

Bicycles enable skilled birth attendants to visit villages more regularly as they are able to travel more efficiently. Therefore they can spend additional time supporting women throughout their pregnancy, so everyone can access safe and appropriate maternal healthcare, regardless of where they live. It costs just £130 to supply a bike and backpack for carrying equipment.

Postage and packing
